One Handmade Cassette Tape Loop
This cassette features a David Chandler Loop Design. It was assembled using 8 seconds of virgin TDK SA-X type 2 high bias tape and a factory new green cassette shell. The cassette comes in a standard clear jewel case.
The David Chandler loop design runs smoothly on both sides of the cassette so you can record a different sample on each side of the tape using most standard cassette recorders.
I carefully assemble every cassette by hand on a splicing block with professional splicing tape and test every tape for functionality on four different cassette decks: Tascam porta02 mkII, Tascam 424 mkIII, Sony TCM-20DV, Jensen MCR-100
although these tapes work in most walkman and shoebox style cassette players as well as in most 4track decks they do not work in every cassette player. For example I have been told that loop tapes do not function in a Yamaha CRX100 four track player.
